Urban Peasant is busy getting ready for our fermented beverages workshop next Tuesday April 28th in the Kitchenette/LRE Catering kitchen. Our speaker Scott Mansfield is a home brewer/wine maker who will be instructing the class about making mead, sparkling wine and ginger beer.
After we learn how to make Ginger Beer we're planning on making several batches for our heat wave emergency kits!

I just found you this morning. I am eagerly awaiting classes in fermenting not just drinks but foods such as sauerkraut - I really want to take a hands on class in sauerkraut and kimchee. Do you think you will be having some of this soon? I signed up for your emails...

We are working on a Sauerkraut class. We'll send out an announcement when we have details! We are hoping sometime in September.
